NCAA Player of the Week

Week 12

J.J. Worton, Zamel Johnson

Call me biased, but my NCAA Player of the Week goes to UCF’s J.J. Worton. For those of you who don’t know who J.J. Worton is, turn on SportsCenter. He made what some people are calling the “Catch of the Year” on Saturday to tie the game against Temple, and ultimately, keep UCF’s dream season alive. On top of that, he totaled 179 receiving yards with a total of 3 TDs.

Yes, UCF shouldn’t have kept this game close at all, but anything can happen on Saturdays. Doesn’t matter though because UCF is still in position to control their own destiny to reach a BCS Bowl.
